Accredited centres deliver ASOSH courses in their own classrooms or at clients’ sites and issue certificates that anyone can verify online. This guide explains who can apply, what we look for and exactly how the process works.

Who can become a centre

  • Independent training providers and institutes
  • Company training departments that train their own workforce and contractors
  • Universities, technical colleges and vocational schools
  • Government bodies, NGOs and safety consultancies with a training function

What you need

Legal status

A legally registered organisation with a valid trade or training licence in your country.

Qualified trainers

At least one competent trainer for each discipline you want to deliver, with relevant qualifications and practical experience. Trainer CVs are reviewed and approved individually.

Facilities & equipment

Suitable classrooms and the practical equipment each course needs — for example CPR manikins, extinguishers and a safe fire ground, gas detectors, harnesses and anchor points.

Records & quality

A simple system for attendance, assessment records and trainee feedback, and a named person responsible for quality.

The accreditation process

  1. Apply onlineComplete the centre application and upload your licence, company profile and trainer CVs. You receive a reference number straight away.
  2. Desk reviewOur quality team checks your legal documents, trainers and the disciplines you requested, and may ask for more information.
  3. Assessment visitWe carry out an on-site or remote assessment of your classrooms, practical areas, equipment and record keeping.
  4. Agreement & onboardingOnce approved, you sign the centre agreement. We create your centre account on the ASOSH portal and your accreditation becomes verifiable online.
  5. Deliver & certifyPlan classes in the portal, register trainees and request certificates. Each certificate is issued with a unique serial number and QR code.

How it works once you are accredited

Your centre works through the ASOSH portal, which keeps everything in one place:

  • Courses — see the ASOSH courses you are approved to deliver.
  • Trainers — add trainers for approval before they teach.
  • Classes & trainees — open a class, register trainees and upload assessment results.
  • Certificate requests — submit completed classes; once approved, certificates and cards are generated for printing.
  • Invoices & billing — view certificate fees and payment status.

Keeping your accreditation

  • Accreditation is reviewed regularly, and ASOSH may audit classes and records at any time.
  • Only approved trainers may deliver courses, using the approved course outline and duration.
  • Assessments must be genuine — certificates are never issued without a completed assessment.
  • Centres must follow our anti-bribery, equal opportunities and data protection policies.

Frequently asked questions

How long does accreditation take?

Most applications are decided within four to six weeks, depending on how quickly documents are provided and the assessment visit can be arranged.

Can we start with a few disciplines?

Yes. Many centres start with one or two disciplines and add more as they approve new trainers and equipment.

Can a company train only its own staff?

Yes. In-house training departments can be accredited to train their own employees and contractors.

How do clients know we are accredited?

Your centre can be verified on the ASOSH verification page, and every certificate you issue links back to your centre.
